Professional History
Stephen began his real estate career in 1995 at Aronov, where he specialized in the sale and lease of over $1B in retail shopping centers and out-parcels throughout the Southeast United States. He then worked at TSCG prior to forming Saunders Realty (now Saunders Retail) in 2010. Stephen is a graduate of ICSC School of Leasing, and has been a CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designee since 1997.

Education
Stephen studied at the University of Alabama’s School of Accounting and played on the University of Alabama Golf Team. He transferred to Jacksonville State University to play on the JSU Golf Team from 1989 until 1992 while also attending JSU’s School of Accounting and School of Business.

Family & Hobbies
Stephen has two sons: Aaron Elijah Saunders, who resides in Denver, CO, and Micah Aronov Saunders, who resides in Los Angeles, CA. He enjoys golf and going to the beach and the lake. One of his favorite quotes by Mark Twain is, “I’m only human – although I regret it.”
